Infidelity is becoming more and more common in relationships in our ever growing and fast paced society. There are many things to blame infidelity on whether it be the Internet, more women in the work place, the slippage of societies moral ground, the list could go on forever. The last thing anybody wants to blame it on is themselves, as a society we have become accustomed to blaming everything on a disorder or what happened to us in the past, and while in some cases this may be true for the most of the people caught cheating on their spouse it can only be blamed on themselves.

Infidelity is not something that is just for men, there are many women who have committed infidelity in a relationship. In fact while fifty seven percent of men admit to committing infidelity in any relationship they've had and fifty four percent of women have admitted to committing infidelity in any relationship they've had. Knowing these statistics we can start looking for the signs of a cheating spouse that can be applied to either sex. Here is a list that can be applied to either spouse that could be signs of cheating.


• There are unexplained charges on credit card bills.
• They are using more gas.
• The mileage in their car is too high. Check the mileage for them to and from work. Is there a lot of unexplained mileage?
• Money is unaccounted for (this could also be drugs).
• You find receipts for items you've never seen.
• Has unexplained absences
• Makes anonymous telephone calls.
• Dresses up when going out.
• Lost interest being intimate with you.

There are many signs that a spouse maybe cheating, but the biggest sign may be your own feelings. If you truly feel your spouse is cheating there is a simple way to find out, all you have to do is confront them. This might be met with denial, but it will at least let them know that you are on to them.
