Investors: The specific program of Immigrant Investor seeks to draw experienced persons and funds to the nation. Such investors must display business experience, a net worth of not less than CDN $800,000, and also pump in CDN $400,000.

Self-employed: The Entrepreneur Program is interested in drawing experienced persons who would own and productively supervise businesses in the country that would enhance the economy and also produce jobs. Such entrepreneurs must display business experience, a net worth of not less than CDN $300,000. They are also expected to follow certain terms and conditions at the time of their arrival in the country.


Those who are self employed must have the desire, and also the potential, to employ themselves. Such people must add to the cultural, creative or athletic life of the country. To begin with, they could very well employ themselves by buying out and taking control of a company in Canada.
