HTC Touch Diamond mobiles are redefining the concept of smart mobile phones with enhanced prowess of hi-tech resources that allows intuitive response to the phones with exhilarating design and agility.

The mobile phone comes with a 2.8” touch screen that is housed within an awesome and sophisticatedly styled brushed metal and flawless faced edge gives the customer the feeling of holding an exquisite piece of art and style in hand. The touch screen of this mobile phone comes with a vibrant touch-responsive user interface, TouchFLO 3D and ultra-fast HSDPA internet connectivity, gives a rich online experience to rival a notebook and a free flow of menu with the touch of a finger. Other connectivity solutions available are Bluetooth with EDR, Wi-Fi and HTC Ext USB. A 3.2 Mp camera with auto-focus and a second camera with VGA CMOS color camera to complement the picture and video quality. Nevertheless, audio enhancements will include an in-built microphone, speaker and a FM radio with RDS accessibility. Other features in this phone are the HTC weather for home and abroad, 4GB internal storage capacity and an integrated GPS for a full turn-by-turn satellite navigation experience. The battery is expected to have a life of 400 minutes depending on their mobile carrier. The mobile phone runs on a QUALCOMM MSM7201A 528MHz on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional software.

The phone has an awesome all-new technology, TouchFLO 3D is a real attraction with the ability to inspire your contacts, text, music, videos and photos of your friends and family to life at your finger tips. This technology also allows you to visualize the pictures, images and other media and web contents with high quality and uses a 3D graphics processor. HTC makes style and substance mutually inclusive. The integrated GPS and voice-guided service and TechFLO 3d technology allows to view satellite navigation precisely like how you can do on your iPad or on iPhone. All this together has contributed in making HTC Touch Diamond as the Smart phone for the year 2008-2009 in the European Imagine and Sound Association, a body representing nearly 50 of the biggest consumer technology magazines across 20 countries. Some of the service providers of the mobiles, claims this phone to be a better choice than iPhone.

The bad thing about this mobile are there is no microSD slot to expand the memory, poor battery life and no dedicated mini jack with occasional slow down in interface. However, Diamond is more of an innovation in mobile phone for business and entertainment.
