If the letter is signed by applicant himself (in case he is the company’s owner) it must be notarized. <br /> For Work Visa - work authorization by Ministry of Labor (requested by the Brazilian company) is required prior to visa application; recent non-criminal record issued by the local (i.e., applicant's place of residence) Police Department. Whenever the planned stay exceeds 90 days, registration with the Federal Police in Brazil is mandatory within 30 days from first arrival in the country (together with the passport, you must submit the original visa application form that will be returned to you by the Consulate once the visa is issued).<br /> Processing time is up to ten business days.
