When the computer age dawned upon us all the technologists heralded the age of innovation. The reason so many people got excited about the computer age was that computers were going to replace time hogging tasks. Time would no longer be wasted on mundane tasks. Everything would be automated and the employees would be free to instead focus on ideas. Everything will be done faster because all the tasks that could be done by the computers would free up the time and companies will be able to be leaner and more effective at the same time. This has been widely true for computers as the simple and complex tasks involved with data and storage are handled by computers and the humans are free to focus on the interesting problems and their solutions. Web automation is the same concept; that tasks should be automated so they will take less time and work.
One problem that has arisen though is that many tasks are still not automated. In offices all around the world millions of employees are wasting their time doing mundane, repetitive tasks which take no brain power. Tasks like data gathering, upgrading software and data mining. Companies hire people so that they can bring intelligence to the company and allow it to excel. Wasting this intelligence on simple click, copy and paste tasks is a waste of the amazing human mind and its abilities. Every office needs to fill out forms and information which ends up taking up more time than it should.

People in important positions such as network administrators have to waste their time doing installations and upgrades when they should be focusing on making inter-office communication faster. This wastage can be and should be minimized. In a company where all such tasks are automated the employees are spending their time coming up with innovative ideas to cut costs, increase profits and beat the competition. Every company should ideally be run this way.
The reason that many companies do not is that they think of the simple way to do things. Instead of using web automation companies just hire people to do these repetitive tasks. While this might seem simpler in the short term it is actually much more complex and ends up being unnecessarily expensive for the company. Having people do tasks which can be automated defeats the whole purpose of using computers and the internet. It shows that people still have the same thinking that they did 50 years ago when such tasks were done with pen and paper.

By using web automation services such as upgrading business software and data gathering/research and data mining companies can drastically decrease the time it takes to do tasks. Imagine a company where the software is updated automatically. Imagine data gathering/research happening automatically. Such a company will always have the most updated software and data possible due to their automated nature. This will lead to an increase in productivity because the employees will always be using the latest tools and information available. Due to data mining their data will always be as fresh as possible. Using the latest tools and information will allow companies to provide robust products and services. Web automation is the true exploitation of the advantages of the internet age.
