In other words, you should be able to prove that you and your future spouse have enough money with which you can afford to live in the UK. Age consideration is also an important point i.e. you and your fiancée should be at least 21 years of age.

You should be legally free to marry in order to apply for a UK fiancée visa. It means that you both should be single at the time of application and if in any case anyone of you were married before, then at the time of application you should have ended your earlier relationship through divorce. You must have to provide enough proof that you and your fiancée have already met prior. This helps in filing your settlement application.

After receiving a prospective marriage visa, you and your fiancée should marry within six months in the UK within six months. You should demonstrate that you both are willing to live with each other for lifelong.
