In Australia, business visa holders are often looking for new ways to improve their services. Many of them have introduced new ways of doing business. And these has resulted in the current growth that the country’s economy is experiencing.

In particular, one of the the areas that many businesses often sought to improve are customer services. As there are many challenges facing companies in providing adequate customer assistance and services, many of them regularly introduce ways helping their clients.

One example of companies trying to provide more services to their customers is the fast food giant McDonalds. McDonalds have around a thousand stores in the country. Just recently, the company has inked a deal with banking firm Visa to provide an easier method of payment for customers in the country. Dubbed the Visa payWave, the new system aims to provide a faster means of transaction for customers.

In the new setup, payWave cardholders will now be able to pay for their purchases in any of the various McDonalds outlets in the country. PayWave is a relatively new technology developed by Visa in which a cardholders needs to wave a payWave enabled card in front of a special terminal for the transaction to be completed. Because of the contactless nature of the transaction,

cardholders are assured that their bank information are secured and will note be easily copied by others. Also, since the set up does not require the customer to stop at the counter for a long time, cardholders can expect a much quicker and hassle-free service.

In the case of McDonalds purchases, the payWave option is available for purchases of $100 or less. The option is expected to be available in the eight hundred or so outlets around the country by the end of the year. According to McDonald’s Australia Chief Information Officer Henry Shiner, the development is still part of the company’s commitment to providing better services for their customers. Shiner is also optimistic that customers will find the new setup to their liking. It should be noted that McDonalds is the latest company to offer the payWave system, which was introduced in 2007.

Aside from McDonalds, other companies are also making headway in providing better services for their customers. Another area that is closely watched are the s4ervices offered to disabled customers. The Australian government actually has strict guidelines with regards to services for the disabled. And many companies follow these rules closely.
