How to Clean Marbles

These days more and more people are using marble for home applications, but since marbles soft stones, you need to take proper care of marbles to maintain its spark and shine. A little dirt and acidic materials present in fruit juice, colas, wines, and coffees are enough to harm marbles. Ensure regular routine cleaning of marble floorings to keep your marble sparkling. Keep them free from dust and dirt. If it is not possible to clean marbles every day settle for two or three times cleaning of in a week.
There may be plenty of people using marble tiles. Therefore, the demand of products in marble cleaning is increasing. It is best to keep marble tile cleaner handy, so in case of accidental spillage of acidic materials or dirt, you can easily clean up them. Your family and friends can walk around your home with dirt or sand in their shoes, your marble tiles can get dirt and scratches, so you have to clean them immediately.
Wash marble surfaces with lukewarm water and wipe dry with a clean clothes on regular interval if possible. Oil stains are one of the worst enemies of marble. As soon as possible, spread surface with an absorbent fine powder such as whiting or cornstarch, brush after short time. Wipe with ammonia-dampened cloth if previous tip does not helps you either. If these alkaline solutions do not remove all the oil, you can try a solvent. Vinegar may be helpful for cleaning many types of equipment at home but not marble tiles, it can harm the shining as well as finish of marble. Even any type of detergents or soaps should be avoided, it would be better to use warm water if you do not have a proper marble cleaner. Polishing marble tiles at regular interval is a good idea. It will keep the glow and shining of marble forever.
